Australian software for community services

Software that keeps the focus on people, not paperwork.

We make software for the frontline of community services — built by people who've done the work, and people who've spent their lives building software. We build for one reason: to help practitioners and organisations do their best work.

Data stored in Australia · your data is always yours

Who we are

We build for the people who hold the hard conversations.

Too much of a frontline worker's week goes to admin instead of the people they're there to support — in family services, NDIS, Child Protection and community organisations alike. We started Flow Outcomes to give that time back.

Most software for this sector is built by people who've never sat with families on their worst day. We have. Flow Outcomes brings together decades of frontline practice and decades of building software, and that combination shapes every decision we make.

That conviction is simple: good software should help, and then get out of the way. The right tools don't compete for attention or try to keep people coming back — they take the weight off, respect the judgement of the person using them, and leave the work itself to the people who know it best.

Everything we build holds Aboriginal practitioners and families in mind. We hope what we build feels warm and respectful to use.

Our philosophy on data. It's your data, not ours. We only ever hold it and keep it safe. We use it to do the work you've asked of us, and nothing else — we never sell it, never share it, never use it to train AI, never put it to a purpose of our own. It lives encrypted on Australian servers, under Australian law, and it stays yours, start to finish.

Why this matters

Less time on admin, more on what matters most.

Ask a practitioner what wears them down, and nine times out of ten it's the unrelenting workload. Workers in this sector can spend up to half their time on documentation, and it's quietly driving good people out of work our communities need.

That cost lands on organisations too. When the workload piles up the best people burn out and leave — and the strain it puts on a team isn't just a frustration to absorb any more. It's a real risk to staff wellbeing, and one that organisations are working to protect their people from.

There's another human cost as well. When a worker is overloaded, the person at the centre — often a child — can slip out of genuine view in the record, not for any lack of care, but because doing the work and writing it up at the same time is genuinely hard.

We can't take the hard parts of this work away. What we can do is take some of the weight out of writing it down — so more of the day, and more of the worker, is left for the people it's meant for.

The experience behind it

Two careers, in the same room.

Flow Outcomes exists because two kinds of experience finally sat down at the same table — a lifetime spent in child and family services, and a lifetime spent building software. Neither of us is guessing at what the other half needs.

20+

Years building software

Two decades designing and building software and mobile apps people actually rely on — the craft to make something this sector can trust with its most sensitive work.

40+

Years in child & family services

A working life inside the sector — frontline, then leadership. The practice that guides our product is lived, not researched from the outside.

It's a combination you don't often find together, and it's the reason our software feels like it was made by people who understand the work. It was.

Available now

CaseFlow Notes

Case notes, written the moment the visit is still fresh. A worker answers guided questions — by voice or by typing — and a clear, strengths-based note comes back for them to read, adjust and upload. The worker stays the author of every line, and the one accountable for it. And the family in front of them gets more of their attention, not less.

How we work

What we hold to, every time.

01

Yours.

We only ever hold it — never shared, never used to train AI. It stays in Australia, encrypted, and even the AI that processes it is Australian-hosted and barred from learning from it.

02

Accountable.

The AI tidies and structures what you tell it — it never interprets, diagnoses, or invents. The process makes sure the words stay yours, and the accountability stays with you.

03

Practical.

Nothing that doesn't need to be there. Every screen and every tap has to earn its place — no clutter, no extra steps, nothing in your way. If we can't justify why it needs to be there, we leave it out.

04

Strengths.

We help you capture what's working and what people are capable of, not just what's wrong — because that's how good practice already thinks, and the tool should hold it.
